🏑 Cz Omega Trigger Vs Standard

The P01 has the standard trigger, works fine. It has the decocker. My Omega is one of the first in the states, I was told it was part of a build for a Central or South American police buy, which was backed out on. I got it for all of $400. The trigger is lighter than a standard metal CZ, maybe a bit longer DA draw. It’s here that I discovered one of the CZ P07’s few flaws… There aren’t many flaws, but the trigger of this specific gun’s double-action is one of them. It’s incredibly heavy, to the point where you worry it might break if you pull it too hard. You likely won’t break it, though. With that said, the trigger itself works flawlessly. The CZ P09 utilizes the same Omega trigger system as modern CZ 75s. The Omega system is insanely simple, but we’ll talk about that later. The weapon is not compatible with standard CZ 75 Like the full-size CZ SHADOW 2, it features butter smooth trigger pull (single action 3.4 pounds; double action 10.3 pounds) and shortened reset, allowing for quick and accurate follow-up shots. It comes with a 4-inch barrel that glides quickly from holsters while still achieving impressive ballistic performance; its magazine holds 15 rounds. The trigger on the SP-01 is out of box better than most in that price range. Changing the mainspring to a 13 lbs. one is a cheap and easy way to lighten the pull. You can do that yourself easily. If you combine this with the competition hammer, I think you'll be more than satisfied with both the DA and SA pull. Introduced in 2009, the CZ P-07 was the first handgun to feature the convertible Omega trigger system. A simplification of the CZ 75’s hammer ignition method, the Omega’s trigger parts are interlocking in nature, allowing full disassembly and reassembly without the need for gunsmithing experience or tools. The best part of this system is The main difference between the two triggers is the lower 1/3 of the trigger. When you’re in SA, the “flat” trigger will be more vertical than the old style. If you look up my old post, you’ll find some comparison photos vs. the old style trigger. I went with a "flat" Armory Craft trigger on my SP-01 with the CGW reach reduction I’m stressed about CZ tbh. This latest cz600 release was underwhelming with the multiple caliber feature being immediately scrapped - as well as accuracy issues out of the cz trail. Hopefully they’re not getting a bunch of Colt stank all over them. j6Iin.
