Bmw E90 Heater Fan Not Working
1. I set the auto settings to max power (of the three levels provided) 2. I have turned off the rear vent (since nobody usually is in my backseat) to get more power in front vents. 3. I brought the car in to dealer and they tested the a/c levels and said its working fine.
126 posts · Joined 2013. #3 · Feb 15, 2016. It cranked slow this morning but it was very cold. I put the heat on auto and came back 15 minutes later to a cold interior with no heat blowing. It came on full when switching to windshield defrost. During the trip to work I tried other heating options which all shut off the fan completely.
Hello, My BMW E90 2010 LCI is having issues with the heating. If i have it on warm heating, it still blows cold on the driver side. The middle one is also cooler but no so cold. The resistor can apparently be bought for $42 from KO Performance. I bought mine from ebay (OEM) for $60. Very straight forward DIY and not hard at all and should take anyone who can operate a screwdriver no more than 1.5 hours. I would never pay $250 for someone else to do this, seriously.

So the fix is to check for a blown fuse in the oil sensor circuit, then track down and repair the fault that caused the fuse to blow (which usually turns out to be a short in the oil sensor wiring or the sensor itself). On E46, E83 and M54 models, check Fuse 30 and also Fuse 9. On E53 and M62 models, check Fuse 5.

I do not know if radiator is ok or not. engine running good. I checked hc at the radiator reservior tank. nothing detected.
